Keeping Pēpi Safe – SUDI Prevention
Our kaupapa Māori wānanga support whānau to protect pēpi from Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI). We provide practical education around safe sleep, car seat safety, and pēpi wellbeing, while also reconnecting whānau with traditional practices such as weaving wahakura.
Through the MANAWA kaupapa, whānau are empowered with both knowledge and taonga, creating safe sleep spaces that carry whakapapa and protect future generations.
